Jiewen Yao is a principal engineer in the Intel Software and Advanced Technology Group. He has been engaged as a firmware developer for over 18 years and working on Intel confidential computing solution. In the industry, he is chairing DMTF SPDM code task force, and being member of TCG PC Client Working Group and member of the UEFI Security sub team. Jiewen is the maintainer of tianocore/EDKII security package, crypto package and open virtual machine firmware (OVMF) package. He defined in the confidential computing extension for the UEFI specification. Jiewen presented in multiple open source conferences such as UEFI webinar, open source firmware conference (osfc), Free and Open source Software Developers' European Meeting (fosdem).
